To provide a standard uniform appearance and utilitarian durability for routine office and field work:

Have all uniform agencies in DHS use one field type uniform (except for flight/float duty). Specifically the 5.11 design Tactical Pant and the 5.11 design polo shirt. Standardized Office Furniture and Equipment

Lower the cost of office furniture by standardizing office furniture across all government agencies. Why does a desk in one office need to look any different than the desk in the next room, floor, building, or agency? This will reduce the time personnel spend selecting furniture, allow ubiquitous transfer of furniture from one office/agency to the next, and drive down cost by encouraging competition in industry.

Standardize design and construction for all new nonspecialized government facilities like franchises do (e.g., Home Depot, Taco Bell, Target, etc).
