Each year, on the anniversary date of the enlisted military member, they recieve a clothing allowance. Based upon the branch of service and sex of the member, they recieve between 388.80 - 608.40. (www.military.com)

Uniform Identity for US Air Force members

Institute the Flight Duty Uniform (FDU, per Air Force Instruction 36-2903, the Dress and Appearance of Air Force Personnel) as the only Air Force duty/work uniform for Air Force personnel. Currently, airmen are required to have service dress blues, the Airman Battle Uniform (ABU), & the FDU if authorized. UNIFORM ALLOWANCE AND RECYCLING

At the end of every year, your uniform allowance becomes use or lose.

Minimize the allowance slightly and allow for rollover of unused moneys, and people would feel less compelled to spend it, and may even promote the saving of unused moneys.

Also implement uniform recycling.

One utility uniform for all services

We are a joint fighting force, Airmen are working hand in hand with the Army, Navy and Marines and vice versa. Instead of there being 4 distinctly different utility uniforms, create one all service utility uniform for everyone. All services wear the same utility uniform eliminating the need to have blue, green, brown, and gray camo, instead pick the most logical one and make it for everyone.
