Document retires knowledge of the Computer System for New hires.

We know there has been lots of people’s retiring from all departments. Since I joined IRS late September 2010, I have seen over 6 people retire in my Branch only, out of 60 people and only 1 or 2 people were hired/transferred in. There are still people on my Branch which will be retiring soon.

Evaluate Programs

Evaluate all computer programs used in each agency for duplicacy. For example, I can get a return from the LIN system or I can pull up the return using the Employee User Portal. The EUP sometimes has more schedules and resembles the actual tax return filed more so than then LIN link. Can these 2 programs be consolidated? Electronically capture Name(s) and Date(s) of Birth found in USCIS applications so that NCIC background checks can be run automatically when they are due to expire.
