If the VA around America could Skype with Veterans it would save cost. The cost of Veterans driving long distances, and being paid travel pay. Money that is spent on time waiting in a waiting room to be seen. Some veterans have computer access at their homes and being able to Skype ( which is Free) would same time and money for the Federal Government.
Allow new job applicants to interview via the internet through a webcam. Job interviews can be very expensive, not only for the applicant but also for the Federal Government. Utilizing a webcam can still provide interviewers with a face to face interaction. And, it would allow access to very qualified applicants from remote areas that would not be able to afford a plane flight.
Conducts meetings over video enhanced internet phone companies like Skype to eliminate on-site meetings. There will be money saved on travel, meals, and lodging .
