Reorganize OWCP claims to be handled the same as the private sec

Each duty station should have specific claims examiners assigned to them. If the claims examiners would be more familiar with each specific agencies operations, the system would work much better.

In addition, I should not have make multiple calls to the same agency to get answers. I should be able to call one person who is responsible for handling all my claims.

Allow electronic submission of OWCP Direct Deposit Form

Currently agencies can submit the CA-7 Claim for Compensation form into OWCP. However, the direct deposit form still has to be submitted via mail. All this does is cost postage and wastes time. Agencies should be allowed to submit the information electronically in order to expedite the process and eliminate additional documentation.

OWCP Vocational Rehab

Recently, I saw where the vocational rehab counselor said an employee who was unable to completely grasp was unable to even be a janitor because the individual would not be able to use both hands to hold a mop. I'm sorry, but I believe they could easily manipulate the mop or even work at McDonald's.

Utilize Fax to Scan technology for OWCP documentation

Currently, we have to mail documentation to OWCP's central mailroom to process documents. The mailroom then turns around and scans the documents for OWCP. There is technology that allows you to scan a document which is then converted into a scanned document on the other end. Better yet, allow us to scan and upload the documentation directly to a case.
