There is a huge market right now for Federal Contractors, and new companies spring up by the day to fill these federal positions. In most if not all cases these contractors are working for a third to half of what the Government is actually paying these companies for the position. The CG regularly trains reservists in military skills that are often unrelated to the vast experience they bring from their civilian employment and education. New initiatives like the Cybersecurity approach will likely bring in high paid contractors and require extensive training for active duty CG. Make it easier to hire "qualified applicants" in lieu of government employees who have status.
I have no problem with additional points that are given to past/present military personnel... but status points given to government employees needs to stop! Too many government employees are complacent and lazy.
