Eliminate FAA's Essential AIr Service

Taxpayers pay hundreds of millions of dollars each year subsidizing commercial air service to about 140 small towns (for example, Lewistown MT or Grand Island NE).
Some of these flights only carry a handful of passengers. This has been labeled "Essential" even though there is nothing essential about this. If the flights were "essential" then the Free Market would support it without needing the subsidies.

Flat Tax and Reduce the IRS

Create a flat tax for everyone with no loop holes, exemptions, or tax breaks.
Reduce the size of the IRS by at least one half of current staffing, associated offices, and vehicles.
This would create a vast resource of monies for government and remove the associated bureaucracies that weigh this great nation down. It would be a very positive step in getting our nation out of the massive debt crisis.

Therefore, the 3rd class medical certificate is supefluous and wasteful... more »

Here's the rip-off: all these people built or bought their houses at market value years ago knowing they were by the airport...and thei mpact of jet noise (oh, by the way, we probabluy have 20 flights a day going in/out... more »

Then, once the trip is complete, in order to do process the voucher, all the information must be entered into GovTrip. This is a duplication and waste of time, paper, and ink plus wear and... more »
