The federal government is being a bad parent. It sets policies and then does nothing to enforce the opposite from happening. For example, we are told that we need to be more sustainable by demolishing facilities that are utility and maintenance wastes, so that we can control our long term costs. IRS Form and Presidential Campaign -New Change

As a subsititute to giving $3 to the Presidential Campaign on the infamous IRS forms, maybe we can give $1 to the Reduction of the Debt Ceiling and $2 to the Presidential Campaign. Second, idea would to make contribution of $50 or more to the Reduction of the Debt Ceiling as a tax deduction. Maybe, I'm being too naive, patriotic, or optimistic but a penny in a pile, makes a dollar after while.

Stop printing the paper dollar bill

With the advent of the golden dollar, what is the point of still printing a paper dollar bill? Folks need to be encouraged to use the golden dollar coins and the best way to encourage use is to make it the only game in town. In addition, folks are prone to saving coins (usually in a jar in their house) and may save more money in the form of dollar coins purely out of habit of emptying their coins into that jar.
