Stop Useless Operations

Each year all agencies have money that they must spend by a certain time. A lot of operations are put together to simply use up the overtime money, but throughout the year employees are pulled from teams and put on primary for Customs and Border Protection to reduce overtime. Billions in savings

Repeal Medicare Part D.The new program was never meant to be a subsidy to the pharmacutical companies but this is what it has become. The program was implemented with no intenition of funding it so it comes out of the general revenue. It is evident we can no longer afford it.

Eliminate pagers and work phones

The pager system especially for physciains is an outdated system that no longer serves a purpose especially when almost all of us have cellular phones or smartphones. Eliminate the pager system and work phones and allow employees to use their own mobile phones.

Cut optometry costs

Have an income requirement for reception of free eyeglasses for ALL veterans. Currently all veterans, whether service connected or not can receive free eyeglasses every year and get unlimited replacements free of charge. Cost shift for the higher income patients and only give pone pair a year free for lower income veterans.
