Shut off escalators that are adjacent to elevators
All escalators that are next to elevators should be shut off to conserve operating energy and maintenance costs. People are able to walk up a flight of stairs. If there is an elevator close enough to accomodate people who can't use stairs, the escalator is redundant. The exercise will also improve people's health, saving on health insurance costs.

Fleet Management
Currently GSA Fleet manages about half of the Governements vehicles. Make GSA a mandatory source for common vehicles ie, sedans, pickup trucks and vans. The reduction in staffing, maintenance cost and fleet operations would be outstanding.
