Telework should be required for those who have signed telework contracts in the event the Government office needs to shutdown due to weather related issues or other issues which would prevent the employee from traveling to the office.
New leases are being explored for many local offices because the merger of agencies means seating is not adequate for all assigned employees. Instead, offices should be seeking to reduce the overall footprint even with the newly assigned staff.
