Simplify the Internal Revenue Code

As we see in the media recently, Congress and the Taxpayer Advocate all agree that the code needs to be simplified. It is too confusing to follow or enforce. Simplifing the code will reduce true inadvertent errors by taxpayers. It will reduce audit cycle times because things won't be quite as complicated. Flat Tax and Reduce the IRS

Create a flat tax for everyone with no loop holes, exemptions, or tax breaks.

Reduce the size of the IRS by at least one half of current staffing, associated offices, and vehicles.

This would create a vast resource of monies for government and remove the associated bureaucracies that weigh this great nation down. It would be a very positive step in getting our nation out of the massive debt crisis.

Campaign Ads that help Social Security

Why not tax all campaign ads (or all campaign ads above some set limit), and have all proceeds go to support Social Security and Medicare. If the rich and elite can spend millions of dollars to get elected to a federal office than why can't some of these funds go to support those constituents they wish to represent. The more you spend on campaign ads (TV, radio, paper, etc.) the more you contribute.

Tax Fee on Children

Do away with the tax credit for children, and let the IRS should start charging a substantial income tax fee on each child under 18 years of age. The tax fee should go up with each additional child born. Maybe this will help curb our population problem now before we get like China and have a mandatory chilld limit due to massive overpopulation.
