Organize the SAVE website

This is not an idea to save money but to make it easier for us to vote on money saving ideas. There are currently about 2,800 ideas on the website. There is no way that anyone with a full time job can read through these ideas and vote on them. Can we please have categories (not just tags). Save Votes?

I was just looking at the top contributors. And I am not sure how the votes are counted. I am not trying to pick on anyone individually. Does anyone know the answer? For example, the screen at the top woudl show 6 posts and 200 votes, but when you looked below at the votes on each idea it only added up to say 25 votes? Not exact numbers, but just an example. This seems to be the case on a lot of the top contributors.... more »

Paper & Postage Reduction Cost - Dual Notice Requirement

Currently, any correspondence to taxpayers who file a joint return with the IRS require separate notices to the husband and wife. This results in additional costs for paper, printer, toner, postage, envelope, and other associated expenses.

Dropbox on Every Federal Agency Building

There should be a dropbox on every Federal Agency building.

The dropbox allows the American Taxpayer/claimant/citizen to have access to providing information to that Agency 24/7.

Currently, a person takes a letter or documentation to the postal service to mail to an agency. This causes delays in mail, with the mail sometimes being lost. If the agency had a dropbox on the building, the person could take it there immediately,... more »
