Raise Taxes on Companies like NIKE that Outsource Work. Then offer tax advantages for companies that keep work in U.S. This could end our budget crisis with revenue it would bring in. We bring jobs to with companies that come back to U.S. with there jobs.

Travelling Labs for Rural, Remote and Homeless Veterans

To reduce beneficial travel and burden on our Veterans, as well as increase the number of Veterans getting needed labs that are currently unable to develop a small fleet of equipped RV's staffed by Provider, Nurse, and Clerk/Driver to visit rural areas, KOA campgrounds, homeless shelters on a scheduled basis. Here are a few ideas that could save the government money by eliminating unnecessary expenditures:

1. Travel:
a. Audits or “Site Visits” should be conducted remotely when possible.
b. We should eliminate all travel for training and conferences and conduct these utilizing available technology.
2. Paper Waste: Leave and Earning Statements should only be provided electronically.

Travel pay for Vets coming to med appts - Refurb the system

Travel pay should not be authorized for Vets locally attending their appointments. For people who choose not to live near a VA they should authorize only 2 travel pays a year and no more.

Travel pay should be authorized when going from one state to another for referred care or one VA to another for referred care, but we should not be paying people to come and see their doctor. This is an abuse of our system and we... more »
