CLAP.CLAP...LIGHTS OFF.LIGHTS ON

I drove by the Department of Education off of Penn Avenue one evening , around 8pm and there were so many lights on in the building I thought it was 8am. All government building lights should switched over to sensored lighting. It was disheartening to see all that money wasted to help people read and there are no people there to read. Let's start DOING!

GSA GOVs

GSA is allowed to add surcharges on top of GOV contract prices any time, with multiple changes in one year. As with other contracts, the prices should not be subject to change or be able to be added to by charging surcharge fees based upon fluctuation in gas prices until the contract is renewed. Fewer Government Vehicles

We have a large pool of government vehicles to choose from, but for most of the year they just sit in the parking lot and only a few are checked out on a daily basis. Rather than having enough vehicles to cover heavy volume days, why not just have enough for the average day. It seems like it would be much cheaper to occasionally pay an employee mileage for driving their POV rather than buying and maintaining government... more »
