Federal Employee Video Testimony

Routinely the DOJ and US Attorneys Office will subpoena Federal employees to testify in cases outside of the employee's geographical work area.

These cases can often be cross country in nature as currently my office on the West Coast is working to find funding to send an employee to the East Coast for under one hour of general background testimony.

Allow Federal Employees to trade excess leave for 70% salary

Every year federal employees take excessive time off in order to avoid losing their extra leave at the end of the year.

Many of these employees would prefer to trade in some of their leave for cash rather than taking time off and allowing their work to simply pile up while they are gone.

Revise Law to Eliminate Unneccessary Trials and their Expense

It is time we look at revising the laws to take into consideration forensic and other technology in determining a standard of "irrefutable guilt" in federal cases. Computers and Monitors Should Be Turned Off When Not in Use

Stop encouraging employees to leave their computers on overnight and on weekends so that updates can install. Computers and monitors should be shut down and turned off before leaving for the day. Updates will install when the computer is restarted. Leaving computers and monitors on when they are not being used wastes energy.

Converting Unused Sick Leave to Annual Leave

Federal employees should have the ability to convert unused sick leave accrual to annual leave. Employees should be mandated to carry a minimum balance of unused sick leave before they would be able to convert furture hours into annual leave. In this day and age of electronics, the federal government should be taking advantage of such an opportunity to utilize more electronic media to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Modernize ART training for all BOP staff

Every year all BOP staff are required to take a week of annual refresher training or ART. It creates a lot of scheduling head aches, over time, and other problems all for little gain. The vast majority of what is covered at ART could EASILY be converted to an online format that people could go over at their leisure or in their down time. Stop Voter Fraud (Felons, Illegal Aliens, Deceased, etc)

Require Federal and State agencies make use of the Social Security Administration “Federal Benefit/Prisoner Data Exchange System” to enforce voter fraud laws.
