The cost of training each and every employee is extremely high and I believe that there is a better, more cost efficient way of doing things. Currently, the Government sends each employee to their required training, paying for their flight, hotel and per diem. For a two week course, this can easily be $5000 per person. Save over $500 million annually limit exec. air travel

I have noticed over the years that there has been alot of military airlift missions from our Command. The travel is mostly going from Norfolk, VA to Washington, D.C. Which is roughly a 45 minute flight, as opposed to a 3 hour drive. That is great for time savings, but not financial savings.

I have never been a fan of online courses, particularly ones where a student simply clicks through a set of slides. However, online course delivery has evolved into a format that is not only cheaper, but one which can actually provide a higher-quality learning experience than a traditional classroom.

Change flight booking requirements for all DoD chartered flights

Recently, Airline companies changed their policy to one checked bag only, when reserving a flight.
This has caused a drastic increase in overall fees for travel. When travelling on American Airlines, and probably other companies, this is causing a 100-300 dollar markup.
