How about we work a lot harder to elminate CLS. We already pay soldier, sailor, or airman to do this job. Contractors avoid provisioning parts which delays organic support. Stop Paying Twice for Windows

We buy computers from Dell. Each computer comes with a license from Microsoft. (Sticker with license key) We then buy an Enterprise license to install Windows (any version) on that computer. Dell sells computers without Windows. We can buy our computers without Microsoft licenses, and then install our Enterprise software. (Volume Licensing)

Reduce Printing Through Visibility and Accountability

The US Government wastes millions of dollars on unnecessary printing by Federal employees. Not only are paper, toner, and printer maintenance expensive, but storage, destruction, and time searching through hard-copies costs money.

We need to use the print servers to track and report usage by user/branch/department/command. By shining a light on current and historical usage, users will adjust their habits and save money.... more »

Reduce Printing

If government offices would take the time to stop and think about how much paper and ink they waste every day, they would be shocked. As an intern I go and make copies and file documents and the waste is so bad that I just want to take everyone on a fieldtrip back to my high school. We couldn't even print more than three pages a day even if we didn't have a computer at home and each extra sheet was 10 cents each. Color... more »

Refine the Federal security clearance process by establishing (1) federal agency responsible for adjudicating all federal security clearance investigations government-wide.
