Burn trash to generate energy

Technologies exist and are in use today that allows facilities to use waste streams as a source of energy. Technologies like gasification and pyrolysis exist and are in use in places such as ships where trash disposal and power generation are challenges. These systems can be installed at government facilities to not only reduce the amount of waste that needs to be removed, but provide power to the facility.
