Agencies repeatedly print large training volumes of training materials that are many times thrown away due to the inability transport them from the training site to the trainees work/home site. Suggest that we start providing materials on a CD or Memory Stick to eliminate the cost of printing (including binders and tabs), cost of mailing and shipping materials as well as the cost on the environment. Set up online training modules/simulations for the classroom so every employee will receive the exact same information every time the subject is taught. If we have a complete virtual world or simulation to train in we can complete all steps of a case or work process from start to finish with hands on learning and not just a checklist of steps. Make all training materials electronic

The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center should mandate that all agencies training at FLETC facilities transition all training materials (e.g. instructor guides, participant and reference manuals)to digital versions. Digital materials can be loaded to workstations and/or portable readers for instructor and student use during training.
