Both sides of the printing paper should be used during printing.

During audits and inspections, Inspectors should request double sided printed copies of documents from the firms, as exhibits . It will not only save hundreds of trees, but will also save thousands in mailing costs when the exhibits are mailed domestically and/or internationally.

Our office and thousands of other offices in the Social Security Administration waste immense amounts of paper by printing on one side of sheets of paper instead of printing on two sides. Offices should make their printers default to printing on two sides and should train office personnel to only use one-sided printing when necessary to further the agency's goals.

Stop printing the ones until the stock plie of coins goes down, to the point the stockpile is "normal" inventory. Then restart printing of the dollar bill if you must. Just stopping the presidential coin program is not going to do anything for the coins in storage right now.

And I have often asked for dollar coins or half dollars a the bank and they say they dont have any. They can't circualte if you can;t get them.... more »

When we receive a VA Forms 21-4142, Authorization and Consent to Release Information, we develop for the evidence. If the medical evidence on the form we are requesting is more than 7 years old we should call the doctor or facility to see if they still have the records, a lot of doctors, clinics and hospitals destroy evidence after 7 years and some after 10 years. Each new employee receives approximately 15 pounds of paper at orientation when they are hired by the federal government. All the information that is given to employees at orientation is available through the Dept. of Veteran Affairs Intranet website. It's redundant and wasteful to hand out all the paperwork that's available electronically.
