Relocate USCG TRACEN Cape May to Navy Recruit Training Center

TRACEN Cape May is located in a very uneconomic resort area. The cost of living here is very high, finding reliable employees for Federal employement is difficult, and BAH allowances for this area is ridiculous. The buildings are old and we spend far more money renovating them than if we were to simply relocate to the Navy RTC. When relocating "city" offices - send to cheaper "suburb" areas

There are many government offices close to each other in big cities. Move some of them to cheaper locations, for example move an office from the Washington DC area to Manassas where there is plenty of space, cheaper expenses, and is close to public transportation.

Choose Conference Locations Wisely

NASA and other government agencies must hold conferences regularly, for exchange of ideas, updates on projects, etc. However, the conferences are often held in hotels or conference centers in cities where none of the participants live or work. When this country began, we created programs and benefits to help populate, fill out, and explore this great country, e.g. the Homestead Act, and associated Homestead Acts.

In addition there are many laws protecting the labor, employment, and commerce of the U.S.

I believe unemployment in the U.S. has more to do with complacency, and reluctance to relocate, than it has to do with "jobs Americans don't want to do."... more »
