If you don't have it you can't waste it. More paper is wasted on meetings, weekly reports, gantt charts, phone lists, status updates etc. Instead of providing an endless amount of printing paper, provide finite amounts monthly, once it's gone it's gone until the next ration arrives.
Department of Health and Humans Services still uses paper pay slips for pay and W2's (for USPHS). This should go electronically (like the armed services did years ago). Not only would it be green to decrease paper, avoid postal service charges, but any printing cost would be accrued by the staff member. It feels like a no brainer, but yet, I still receive mine in the mail EVERY month.
