Commander Performance
The buddy system is alive and well in DoD - to truly get the true leaders to the top of the heap, employees should have input into their performance reviews. Use the Unit Climate assessment tool and add a rating category for the commander/senior staff. this way nothing new has to be created, but something that is already in use can be expanded.
