The markups on these products are astronomical. The companies that sell them are all making HUGE profit margins on the order of 1000%+.

Create Area Wide Purchase Orders - Laboratory Services

Implement Area Wide purchase orders and possibly agency wide acquisitions. For example: Laboratory Services Program at each area to consolidate purchases to reduce overall costs from similar vendors, consolidate and streamline equipment and supplies at each area. This will save money by consolidating purchasing efforts and will reduce headaches that accompany single acquisition events.

Directed Energy
Information Technology
Propulsion
Munitions
Human Research
Sensors
Space Vehicles
Materials

Consolidate EPA Laboratories

Last time I counted, there were 39 EPA Laboratories nationwide. Most labs have ther own personnel, infrastructure and instrumentation/lab equipment. Why not put all laboratory suport under one AAship, such as an AA for Laboratory and Scientific Support.
