Czar positions that have been created over the last 2 1/2 years are duplicative of existing federal infrastructure. Czar positions and their staffs should therefore be eliminated and problems be sent to existing infrastructure for resolution. Nation-wide future-smart infrastructure

This idea has savings that are long-term. Our nations infrastructure is failing and it results in costly repairs and lives lost. If we pro-actively invested in a future smart infrastructure we would employ more Americans, and not have to pay the costly repurrcussions like in the Aug. 1, 2007 I-35W Bridge Collapse in Minneapolis, MN.

Borrow More Money While Interest Rates Are So Low

President Reagan did it. This is the best time in history for the government to borrow more and reinvest in our infrastructure. President Reagan grew the economy and helped bring in tremendous prosperity. Let President Obama do the same.

You hear it all the time at investment seminars (for the wealthy) saying "this is the best time to borrow." The rich are borrowing and extending their debt and growing their empires... more »

Alternate Work Schedule & Telework Mandate

With roughly two million federal civilian employees, of which 15% (~300,000+) work in the Washington DC Metro area, demand put on the daily infrastructure (I-66, I-95, etc) is substantial. Currently, most personnel would work a normal 40 hour work week (5 days x 8 hours). Infrastructure and Jobs

There is no substitute for infrastructure when it comes to creating jobs. There are 4 distinct advantages in borrowing any amount of money from anywhere to build USA’s infrastructure. 1. It creates and keeps jobs in this country. 2. Infrastructure will promote our own growth. 3. It will be here for our grandchildren. 4. It will promote manufacturing within our borders –we can’t import ready-mix concrete.
