Have all students at all high schools that receive federal money be required to take military aptitude tests. This will aid recruiters and possibly steer some citizens toward a better life.
When possible require SSI recepients to complete High school/GED requirements. This will aid them in the long run and and gain them skills that could get them closer to self suffientcy.
All Vo-Tech students leave high school with a diploma and most leave with a certification in a trade. Why are most students denied this opportunity? If the goal is to prepare students for the workforce, get kids into certification programs. They can still go to college but at least they will have usable training as a fall back.
If we instill in children the importance of being physically active at a young age they will be more likely to have a healthier life style in adult hood. This will save money in healthcare cost because there will be less medical problems due to weight problems.
