Congress is not doing their job. Challenge them to maximum time line to pass a budget before they work on any more lesislation. The budget should be passed in less than 90 days. Then if they don't pass the budget, they are all recalled and we have another election. IF THEY WILL NOT DO THEIR JOB, FIRE THEM ALL! Not that's an ammendment worth fighting for! Reduce Congressional time off so they actually work for us!

Congress should not be alowed to take holidays off during national emergencies; fiscal or otherwise. My guess is if we had another Pearl Harbor everyone would show up. Members of Congress should not receive retirement benefits. This will prevent them from staying in Congress too long and will cause them to move on to other jobs after serving shorter terms in Congress. Their health benefit choices and life insurance benefits should be not be different from ordinary government employees during the time they are serving in Congress. Congressmen refuse to be held to a higher standard, and as such, they should not and usually are not.
