The Federal Budget can be reduced significantly if we simply put a stop to the “end of year” spending spree that the Federal government is famous for. Each year Beltway bandits gear up to support the massive federal spending that occurs before September 30. There are various examples where employees try to seek out assistance in order to alleviate very stressful situations with innapropriate management. The Recovery Act introduced additional requirements for the public to track where we were spending the stimulus dollars. But who looks at these excel spreadsheets? USASpending.gov (which wasn't always correcct), federalreporting? or finding a posting in grants.gov or fedbizops? But everyone can follow a tweet!
