Save money by properly utilizing trained personnel.

Ensure specialty training is better used as part of the billeting process or at least put it to better use. The current system is broken at best. I have over half a million dollars in training that will likely be useless in the next two years. That doesn't count training from my last assignment. Eliminate Duplication of Effort Creating Mandatory Training

In our Department we use a single learning system for training. That is the good news! It's very cost effective. Now for the bad news! Some offices responsible for ensuring particular topics that are mandatory to be trained on continue to create their own training when there are adequate training modules already purchased for use through out the Department. Here is my idea. The Learning and Training Community in the Federal Government is composed of all, or mostly all, Federal agencies. Each Federal agency provides and delivers the required supervisory training, leadership training, and technical training courses. Creating a VA Regional office training dept

I would suggest the Dept of VA, stop conducting centralized challenge training across the U.S. I would instead suggest each RO having a training dept to give out all new, and updated training. This department would be established with certified VSRs and RVSRS. I would suggest these individuals certified and have certain educational backgrounds.
