We could set up military camps along the southern border to protect our boards against terrorists and illegals. Let them use their annual training time to help actually protect our country instead of wasting it. This would be money very well spent and help to protect the citizens of this country.

I love my career in the USAF Reserves. As a full-time Air Reserve Technician the past two years we've been ordered to wear our part-time Reserve uniforms as DoD Civil Service employees daily. This is costing the USA government at 5 million dollars annually. Not to mention the yearly cash awards to other officers to maintain dress and appearance standards daily. The ORI process is an incredible waste of time and resources. Military units have been tasked for real wars for the last 10 years and regular training deployments for much longer. No matter what, they still have to undergo an Inspector General (IG) inspection every 3 years to prove they can deploy in a real world situation. The issue is that no unit ever deploys for an actual contingency operation the way they are graded... more »
