Assess all printed reports government-wide to determine: (1) necessity of the report - can it be eliminated all together because similar information exists elsewhere; (2) if needed, can the report be completely or partially replaced by electronic, web-based, at least let recipients opt out; (3) if printing is required, look for less expensive approaches through less color, glossy pages, and smaller number of pages.

Within recent years, HQ has significantly increased reporting requests/requirements to the Regions. As a result, each Region has utilized precious staff time responding to those requests instead of using that time better serving our external customers.
