Reduce Printing Through Visibility and Accountability

The US Government wastes millions of dollars on unnecessary printing by Federal employees. Not only are paper, toner, and printer maintenance expensive, but storage, destruction, and time searching through hard-copies costs money.

Reduce government rules and requirements

A few years ago the Gov't had an initiative to reduce the number and simplify the goverment laws and regulations. It might be time to revisit simplication. Just read any notice in the federal register, and all the required extra stuff that goes with the actual notice. Better yet look at a Mil-spec for a simple item like a pen, or plastic bag.
