SSA offers its customers the option of receiving their notices in Engish or Spanish. When someone requests Spanish notices, we mail them two copies of the same notice - one in English and one in Spanish. We also mail them both an English and Spanish copy of any enclosures, including such enclosures as 25-page pamphlets. Contracted Balck and White printers cost about 1.5 cents per page where laser costs 7 center per page. Inkjet costs about 20 cents per page. Contracting Xerox or like machines could save millions in operating overhead
