FedCenter has been a great tool from an environmental compliance standpoint for Federal Agencies. I would strongly encourage using a similar site for occupational safety (OSHA) compliance standpoint.
An OSHA course should be offered to allow agencies to conduct their own OSHA 500/501 classes. Most agencies have to pay an OSHA training center to train/certify a trainer. Allowing agencies to teach the training during in-house training would eliminate a cost of more than $700 per person.
Currently the OSHA 503 General Industry Trainer Update is permitted online but there are no providers for the OSHA 502 Construction Industry Trainer Update. Permitting this course online would drastically reduce the costs for both the government and private sector.
