OASIS online

The OASIS magazine is printed and mailed to SSA employees and retirees. A copy is mailed to every employee in the agency, regardless of their interest. I suggest that this magazine go online instead. This would save printing and mailing costs. In addition, individual employees who are not interested in receiving this magazine could 'unsubscribe'. That would save employee time and boost productivity.

OASIS

Social Security publishes a quarterly magazine called the OASIS to highlight new information and office activities. I suggest that this magazine be made available in electronic format only. It is a nice, glossy and color magazine which I am sure is expensive to publish. Additionally, copies are sent to all employees which incurs significant postage costs.
