Stop military units from wasting their annual funds.

Near the end of every fiscal year, many military units will push to spend the last of the year's funds. Sometimes this push is fully justified as the unit purchases much needed items. Consolidate AF Inspections

Consolidate AF inspections (UCI, LCAP, ORI, MCCI) into 1 inspection and have 1-POC for the inspections. Also, many inspections (ORIs) are obsolete (cold war era thinking). These serve no purpose other than to have MAJCOMs and Wing Commanders get a "warm-fuzzy" that their folks could survive if a ficticious cold war were to happen.

Energy Efficiency Manager

Creating a collateral duty within a unit (unpaid) that focuses on minimizing the carbon and resource waste one generally sees in the Federal government to both improve energy consumption and save money would improve and promote resource management. One way of avoiding cuts in manning is to reduce costs- everywhere you can.
