Deployment Gear Shift

Far too many military members are sent on deployments with inadequate gear. Far too many people volunteer to be deployment managers and have NO experience with the equipment they order or even know how to use it. The programs need people who are familiar with current needs, know the good/bad of the gear and are ordering the best equipment at the lowest price. Fire/kick out worthless people

The military, and likely all government positions are staffed by a lot of good, hard working people. There are also a lot of worthless people who do nothing but show up to work and collect a paycheck. Enforce the ratings system, and kick out worthless dirtbags. FIRE LAZY before Reduction in Force (RIF)

If you’re going to reduce the FORCE make sure you get rid of the right ones (lazy) first. Doing more with less with less productive people just does not make any common sense. I’m talking both civilians and military. Start with ranking all those annual reports/people and get rid of the low performance. We spend millions of man-hours creating these annual reports on performance but never use them when we get rid workers.... more »
