Electronic law/reference libraries

It would save considerable money if all General Counsel offices across the federal government stopped using printed refernece materials. These are all available electronically -- both the most up-to-date versions and prior versions. In order to allow attorneys the portability of a book, however, one option would be to purchase several e-reader devices (such as a Kindle, Nook, or something similar) that would have subscriptions... more »

Penalize Frivolous EEO Lawsuits

Employees who are fired for misconduct or poor performance often submit frivolous EEO complaints. They do this as retaliation, or in an effort to recieve (an unjustified) settlement due to the enormous expense that the government must absorb to investigate these claims. It is often cheaper for the government to pay a settlement even when no discrimination has actually occured. When such a claim is found to be clearly... more »

Not forgetting there are also people who just do not report taxes at all. I ask that we change or tax code up from one... more »

Stop making parts of programs that have nothing to do with it.

When the Obamacare package came up and I heard it was 2500 pages long, it made me wonder how long a bill can really be. So I started reading some of it, and quite frankly I was rather upset. Many many portions of the bill had nothing to do with healthcare, but rather it gave money to states for other things. So, really the US government needs to stop bassing bills with all those extras, and also needs to amend bills... more »
