The Department, government, and tax payer will incur vast costs as a result of this rehabilitation, movement of large numbers of employees work spaces, loss of employees due to decreases in work-life balance, rehire costs, retraining costs, decreased efficiency, etc.... more »

Prisons

LABOR-Develop a reasonable labor requirement to cut cost the Govt, would otherwise spend on Fed employees, contractors, or private sector. Since they are receiving better healthcare than most, cable which some still can't afford, and exercise equipment which some can't afford or are to busy working to use, we might as well educate them and give them a skill so they may positively contribute to society. In addition, this action would reduce federal costs to process this information; reduce over payments to the unemployed; and, expedite payments to families with child support payments where the worker and the support recipient live in different states.

The federal... more »

REDUCE GOVERNMENT WELFARE SPENDING!

Reduce government Welfare Spending.
Today, welfare spending is the largest item in the federal budget, standing at $888 out of the $3.6 trillion of the federal budget, that is nearly 25% of federal funds. I believe that instead of giving money to individuals who are not currently working, we should provide them with work in their communities in return for pay and benefits. Government Welfare spending is at an all time... more »
