Expand the "Holding Out" concept

Right now if a couple (man and a woman) cohabitate but are not married, benefits are reduced as though they are married. Many SSI recepients live with multiple roommates to reduce expenses. If we were to apply "holding out" to households with more than one adult SSI recipient we could cap benefits to the household.

Reduce Household Goods Shipping Expenses

The Department of Defense (DOD) can reduce Permanent Change of Station (PCS) expenses by offering incentives to servicemembers to ship fewer household goods (HHG).

Title 37 US Code Section 406 establishes maximum HHG weight allowances per servicemember based on grade and status of dependents. Servicemembers are penalized for exceeding this maximum weight, but have no incentive to minimize the weight of their shipments.... more »

Encourage Meditation practice by all Federal Employees&families

Encourage all Federal employees to practice meditation, and that this meditation practice be shared with each Federal employees' dependents so that each Federal employee's respective household benefits from Meditiation (e.g. positive health benefits, positive rewiring of their cortex&cerebellum, patience, cross-applications with sports psychology)
