Wasteful Ordering, Paper & Postage - Two Ways to Save Money

There are many good ideas to save money by altering usage of postage, office supplies, paper, etc. I propose two different and specific avenues to save money, at least within FSIS.

Paper Waste

Stop sending paper copies of directives, notices, newsletters, etc to employees who have email access. At the establishment I work at (13 inspectors, all of whom have access to goverment computer and email) we receive electronic versions of these documents by email, yet we also receive 13 paper copies of all these documents.
