FEMA Flood Maps
FEMA can use other agency flood mapping for interim use to revise Flood plains. For example, The USGS has completed a flood study that lowers the Base flood eleveation for Braes Bayou in Houston Texas by 4 feet. FEMA says they can't/don't have to/won't use the USGS study.
