Make FERS elective

Some employees do not want to participate in the FERS defined benefit pension system, especially if the employee contribution percentage is increased. Some employees feel that they could do much better managing that money on their own. tax and penalty free withdrawal of Thrift Savings

Allow tax free and penalty free withdrawal of Thrift Savings Plan retirement savings for retiring employees. The option to withdraw TSP funds tax free and penalty free would allow employees to receive a buy-out without it costing current revenue.

Social Security Reform

Billions and Billions saved. I work for the IRS and most employees come in under a FERS retirement system which assist them at retirement providing they input to it during the working years. Fers employees pay into and retire on social security.

Under FERS employees are eligible to put funds into a Thrift Savings Plan. Her employees can put there payperiod savings into the G fund, C fund and several others. Some... more »
