Save funds by using part-time employees for extra hours!

Use part-time employees to work extra hours instead of full-time employees. For full-time employees, extra time worked is paid time and a half. For part-time employees, extra time worked is paid as additional regular time. In my organization full-time employees are often offered extra hours before part-time employees.

Jobs open to all US Citizens vs. Status

Make it easier to hire "qualified applicants" in lieu of government employees who have status.

I have no problem with additional points that are given to past/present military personnel... but status points given to government employees needs to stop! Too many government employees are complacent and lazy.

These employees would have been continuously employed by since Jan 1, 1984, and have a minimum of 25 years of Federal Service towards this pension (actually 26 years).... more »

Because of this, both the individuals and the Federal Government loose money, meanwhile these contract companies are getting rich. I believe... more »
