If the gov. were to invest more into employee engagement, it would increase employee satisfaction and improve productivity of the existing workforce. US MSPB (2008) finds that only 35% of employees are fully engaged, 47% are somewhat engaged, 17% are not engaged. This means that a division of 50 is operating a ~62.5% productivity. Scheduled Telework Days

Thousands of government employees are now performing their duties via teleworking. The benefit to workers has been great, both qualitatively and quantitatively. Now it's time for the government to maximize it's benefit. I suggest having "set" weekly, bi-weekly or monthly telework days.
