If the Government would eliminate ALL GOVERNMENT Departments on having to spend thier alotted budgets this would save Billions of dollars and would not lead to frivilous spending to ensure they get the same amount for the upcoming year.

NPR reports that more than one billion one-dollar coins are stacking up at the Federal Reserve, and legislation mandates that ever more of these presidential coins must be minted. Create a flat tax for everyone with no loop holes, exemptions, or tax breaks.

Reduce the size of the IRS by at least one half of current staffing, associated offices, and vehicles.

This would create a vast resource of monies for government and remove the associated bureaucracies that weigh this great nation down. It would be a very positive step in getting our nation out of the massive debt crisis.

Charge a national sales tax on luxury items. If a person can afford the luxury item, they can afford the national tax. Take the national tax and apply to national debt. This way we are not taking food out of anyone's mouth! Luxury sales tax = boats, alcohol, cigarettes, gambling facilities, luxury cars, campers, etc.
