Have service phones installed at the field office for customers to contact either TSC or the FO personel. Customers can be screen and light service can be provided instead of waiting in line for the same service.

Taxpayers are issued a Notice CP220 when an examination has been completed. These notices include the tax, penalties, and interest due as a result of the examination. Most of the taxpayers do not know what the interest will be since it is generally not included on the Revenue Agent Report (RAR.)

Place VSR with county offices (POA) to facilitate faster claims

Placing veterans service representatives (VSR) into the field one at every county office. The VSR would actually talk with the claimant clarifying all information he or she is submitting. Copy the file into virtual VA and notification can be verbally/written no waiting 30 days for VCAA response. Receive Faxes via Secured Email

Receive faxes via secured email: If the tax payer or their representative were able to fax directly to the Specialist's/Gov't Representative via the Specialist's email address, costs of paper would decrease, a savings in man hours spent contacting the representatives to request the faxes again due to non-receipt of the info., and a better customer service oriented agency with a quicker response time.

TRAVEL PAY EFFICIENCY

I would like to stream line the process of veteran's receiving their travel pay.
1. The Veteran's ID cards would be used as a credit card for the veteran. The travel office would work with my healthy Vet to set up these credit accounts for the veterans.
2. Upon check out from their appointment the clerks would swipe the veteran's ID card. This would notify the travel clerk that the veteran had been to an appointment.... more »

Daily, we receive requests from our public for benefit letters. Though we encourage our public to eServices to obtain this information, some customers request the information to be sent via fax.
