There are too many employees in the federal government that are not getting the job done! A new people strategy needs to be implemented in the federal government to encourage hard work. Emphasize Keys to Education - Reading, Math, Science

Reading is the key to ALL education. Yet many of our High School grads can't read beyond a 6th grade education. Some grads are illiterate! We need a huge push to ensure all children can read by the time they graduate from elementary to middle school, and we need to catch all those in High Schools and Middle Schools that can't read. Flexibility in Contracts

While there are contracts that are meant to promote good business and help raise the platform (small business, disadvantaged etc) the contracts do not always allow for the best expertise or price. In addition an increased allowance in "off the shelf" products would be beneficial. The market should be truly competitive and not a hand out.
