Promote Commuter Bike Sharing

The red bike share program in DC and elsewhere appears to be taking off. Federal agencies should partner with these groups and arrange to have these bike systems installed at or very near federal agencies so that more commuters could take advantage of these part time bikes to get to and/or from work on a more regular basis and save commuting money, get exercise, and not have the hassle of having their own bikes to maintain... more »

Federal employees have developed an edge in time management- due to ever-changing requirements mandating quick-turnarounds on work. Most of us have learned to accomplish our daily tasks with time to spare (for adminstrative tasks.) Add bike car to Washington DC Metro system

To encourage biking to/from work instead of using private transportation, it would be ideal if bikers had the option of bringing their bike onto the Metrorail system during rush hours. I understand the current rule not to have bikes on the system during peak hours, but by adding one car to all or some percentage of trains (open, no seats, just room for bikes and riders), this would further encourage people to commute... more »
